CREAMY TORTELLINI WITH SPINACH & TOMATOES

Posted on 681 views

A saucy pasta dinner could be difficult to find in a single dish, but this Creamy Tortellini with Spinach & Tomatoes certainly does deliver.

You should use fresh, frozen, or dried tortellini with this recipe. I’m not gonna lie though, frozen tortellini is among my favorite what to keep stocked within the freezer. It’s very easy to seize the bag and go, digging right into a recipe.

You can’t beat the cooking time- it’s even quicker than the usual pasta. Additionally you can’t beat the options. Seriously, an instant search on the website will highlight how many different recipes we’ve incorporated it into. And that’s precisely what we’ve done up to now.

Also, it’s filled with cheese. Cheese. When has anyone ever complained about eating cheese? No of my kids, at least- so when a busy parent that’s a problem.

  5. Cook and stir over medium high temperature before mixture begins to bubble.
  6. In another bowl, combine the flour and half-and-half. Whisk until fairly smooth.
  7. Add the creamy mixture in to the the skillet combined with the Parmesan cheese.
  8. Heat through and decrease the heat to medium low and continue steadily to stir and cook until it thickens, about five minutes.
  9. Add the drained tortellini and mix together gently.
  10. Serve and revel in!
